Los Angeles skyscraper gets a slide on the outside”

This renovation includes California's tallest open-air observation deck, ideal for tourists that are visiting Los Angeles.

"The Sky Slide boasts a safe, thrilling experience unlike any other in the world", said OUE's Lucy Rumantir, President & Chief Executive Officer.

Attached to the 70th floor of the US Bank Tower, the slide whisks willing daredevils down to the 69th floor.

Riders are provided with a mat, and the tube deposits people directly onto a pad on the observation deck.

In addition, visitors to the attraction will be able to check out a 360-degree digital Topography Wall of Los Angeles.

The Skyslide is built to withstand an 8.0 natural disaster and 110 miles per hour winds. The event will feature food trucks, activities, a beer garden and musical entertainment including Snoop Dogg.

Tickets for the observation decks cost $25 for adults. The Sky Space also offers a Sky Pass, starting at $59, enabling guests to visit at six different times. The slide, which is made of 1-inch thick glass, is 45-feet long and about 1,000 feet above the ground.
