Top Gear tipped to be axed as ratings plunge after latest episode”

A BBC boss has finally spoken out to give his verdict on the new Top Gear.

While introducing the mysterious all-in-white Top Gear racing driver, Matt said: "Some say he thinks Brexit is a laxative".

The newly-revamped "Top Gear " has reportedly reached an all-time low as per the ratings of the latest episode making it possibly being canceled.

The show started with 4.4 million viewers for episode 1 but garnered only 2.3 million viewers for episode 4.

It is expected that the number of viewers will be increasing by next week due to catch-up viewing but the numbers have been quite disappointing since the premiere of the show hosted by Evans.

Top Gear was competing with the Switzerland v France Euro 2016 game on BBC1, which averaged 6.29 million for the entirety of the programme between 7.30pm and 10.05pm.

Viewers have criticised Evans for his "shouty" presenting style and have bemoaned the "lack of chemistry" between Evans and co-host Matt LeBlanc.

"With dwindling audience figures, the future of Top Gear could be hanging in the balance", Betway's Alan Alger said. In the first episode of the show, it had a 60/100 Appreciation Index and is marked to be of poor quality. The 2nd and 3rd episodes managed scores of 68 and 69 respectively. They were buying second-hand cars and raced to Venice.

Top Gear presenter Eddie Jordan has drawn the battle lines with rival Jeremy Clarkson by throwing some shade in his direction. The previous show was brilliant. When you actually see what we did in South Africa and all the other shows I've seen, we're going to be better. The average score for a BBC Two show in 82.
