Singapore joined the F1 calendar back in 2008 as the sport's first night race, and is celebrating the 10th staging of the grand prix at Marina Bay this weekend. Talks between the parties kicked into high gear in February after Liberty Media concluded its US$8 billion takeover of F1 in January.
