Giants CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has reported to Giants facility, source says”

Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is back at the New York Giants' team facility.

McAdoo said Rodgers-Cromartie came to the team's facility Wednesday but made a decision to leave. Collins says that Rodgers-Cromartie didn't leave the team but was suspended after he had a disagreement with McAdoo, according to Leonard.

McAdoo told Rodgers-Cromartie on Tuesday he would be inactive for Sunday's game in Denver due to an argument on the sideline during Sunday's loss to the Chargers. The team later confirmed the suspension.

McAdoo is now not scheduled to speak with the media Thursday after practice, but requests have been made for that to change.

The Giants first announced the suspension Wednesday, but McAdoo would not answer questions about how long the ban might last.

Per the league's collective bargaining agreement, a team-imposed "indefinite suspension" can last anywhere from one to four weeks.

"DRC came in yesterday". "He came in today, made a decision to leave. we will suspend him". McAdoo said he suspended the two-time Pro Bowler after he walked out of the facility following a meeting between the two earlier in the day. So he left and now the Giants are suspending him.

When reached after news of his suspension went public Wednesday, Rodgers-Cromartie reportedly told ESPN that he "handled it the wrong way, but to sit me a game had me hot, so I left".

"I think the leaders on this team, they're not going to let anything like that happen", Apple said.

The 31-year-old Rodgers-Cromartie is in the midst of his fourth season with the G-Men, and he has registered 26 tackles, 0.5 sacks and no interceptions for 0-5 NY.
