Samsung Galaxy S9 could feature Face ID, leak suggests”

We're crossing our fingers (pun intended) the Samsung Galaxy S9 will have the fingerprint reader in a better position for a more comfortable grip and use. The FCC listing for Galaxy A5 (2018) was reported by MobileExpose, which points out the phone has the following FCC ID: A3LSMA530N.

In terms of what we know about the Galaxy S9 duo, rumours suggest the South Korean tech giant will retain the Infinite Displays with 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch display sizes.

The next-generation handset is rumoured to include the same dual-camera set-up that debuted on the Galaxy Note 8 this summer. And from the sounds of it, it could give the iPhone X a run for its money while simultaneously solving one of the worst problems of the Galaxy S8. Of course, the official page doesn't have any details about the device, except for the model number being mentioned.

Samsung has inadvertently revealed the existence of the 2018 A-series lineup.

Leaked by Slashleaks, the renders show the Galaxy S9 with an identical design to the Galaxy S8. the front is expected to lose fat from the top and the bottom lip while retaining the Infinity Display's gorgeous curved sides. It could also come with IP68 certification for water, dust resistance, and will feature a Type-C USB port for charging.

Samsung is going to be one of the first brands to bring a note-worthy flagship in 2018, and as we all can guess - there will be two smartphones.

According to Samsung, "the small 0.9μm pixel size enables a 24Mp image sensor to be fitted in a thinner camera module, allowing premium smartphones to offer high resolution cameras in a very slim and elegant design".

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a 12-megapixel camera with F1.7 aperture offering brighter images. Again we'll have to wait and see if this turns out to be true.
