Bill Kenwright: 'No concerns at all over Ross Barkley move to Chelsea'”

That I say the 'primary' victim of any alleged 'fraud' is Everton is because there would be (assume for one moment that if this was not a fraudulent transaction it was a cynically and some might save cunningly structured transfer designed to benefit the few at the expense of the many) numerous secondary victims. The fans of football generally, who see millions of pounds being paid to football agents and lost to the game.

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has claimed that he has "no concerns" over Ross Barkley's £15m move to Chelsea.

The 24-year-old left Everton to join Chelsea in a £15 million deal last week, according to The Daily Mail.

For Barkley's new club though, £22m for the player and agent fees is still a bargain, and more importantly, a saving of £13m on the fee they were originally going to pay Everton.

Anderson tells FA chairman Greg Clarke and Premier League executive chairman Richard Scudamore that an investigation is warranted in order to "reassure fans that transfers will be monitored more closely in future and that no individuals are benefitting inappropriately".

Barkley trained at Chelsea's Cobham base this weekend and is due to meet with Conte for the first time on Monday.

He is recovering from a lengthy spell out with a hamstring injury and is yet to play this season.

Both players have similar resemblances in the ways they play.

Barkley is a player full of ability and talent and can be played anywhere across midfield which is very good for a manager like Antonio Conte, who likes versatile players that can be deployed in several positions.

Barkley has been heavily criticised by his former supporters for seemingly costing the Toffees £20m plus his wages for the past four months, all while he sat on the sidelines.

"For sixth months we couldn't find the agent [of Ross]".

"He then said (John) Stones was his friend and he should be allowed to leave and he left". We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
