Xiaomi Mi 7 powered by Snapdragon 845 might launch at MWC”

Qualcomm's top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 processor hit the spotlight earlier this month and is set to be the centerpiece of many flagship phones in 2018. Xiaomi has been listed as an exhibitor at MWC on the official Mobile World Congress page. The leak also reveals that the Mi Max 3 would run on MIUI 9 out of the box which is expected. It has been heard that the dual-camera setup appearing on the back of device will be a 12 megapixel one, and on the front there will be a 5 megapixel secondary camera.

Leaked images of the latest entry in the phablet series likely to be called Xiaomi Mi Max 3 showcase a couple of snappers on the back, which is a first in the family. Other rumors also hint at facial recognition tech and Qi wireless charging. Bloomberg reported that the Chinese tech manufacturer has said to have chosen four international banks, namely, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse Group AG, and Deutsche Bank AG, to lead a floatation this year. It is, however, possible to purchase the device from Amazon.ca through a third-party seller. Besides that, the A1 includes a dual rear camera, glass-finish body, 64GB storage, dual SIM and a fingerprint sensor. The current generation Mi Max 2 already comes with a 6.5-inch display, and since we're talking about Mi Max 3, this rumor of such a large screen doesn't seem completely weird. Leaving the device needs in two variations: with three gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal, as well as with 4GB of RAM and hard drive 128 GB.

The Financial Times also noted that the IPO may take place in either Hong Kong or New York.

Not just the Mi Mix 2S, this new report also revealed few key details of the upcoming Mi 7. The notch looks precisely similar to the one present on the iPhone X, and it houses the front-facing camera & sensors. While you might be wondering which handsets in particular will be carrying the chipset, you won't have to wonder for too long since a Weibo tipster has leaked a list of devices which will be using the SoC.
